Drugs Seized in Gujarat: Once again, drugs worth crores of rupees have been seized from the coast of Gujarat. The Gujarat Police has achieved another significant success in the ongoing campaign against drugs. During a raid at the Naliya Goli shore of the Veraval port, the Gujarat Police seized 50 kg of sealed packets containing heroin, valued at Rs 350 crore.
Drugs worth Rs 350 crore seized:
The Special Operations Group (SOG) discovered 50 kg of sealed packets (2 plastic bags) of heroin dumped by the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) on the Veraval coast, with a market value estimated at Rs 350 crore. The operation was jointly and successfully executed by the SOG and NDPS teams. As part of this operation, nine individuals, including three main accused, have been arrested.

According to reports, this quantity was transported to Veraval by sea in a fishing boat. Currently, the Gir Somnath SOG, Local Crime Branch (LCB), and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) have initiated an investigation after the significant quantity of drugs was seized.
Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi shared this information through a tweet after the successful police operation. In his tweet, he provided details about the seized drugs and expressed gratitude to the Gir Somnath Police Department for their efforts in eliminating drugs and executing this successful operation.
