Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar, marking nine years since her debut with ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha,’ expressed gratitude on Instagram, sharing a special moment with fans. The movie, helmed by Sharat Katariya, not only showcased Bhumi’s acting prowess but also received critical acclaim, bagging the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.

Taking to Instagram, Bhumi posted the film’s iconic track ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’ and reflected on the transformative journey since her Bollywood inception. Captioning the post, she wrote, “9 years since my life changed. Thank you for all the love.”
About ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’
The film revolves around the story of Prem, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, a school dropout, who reluctantly marries the educated but overweight Sandhya, portrayed by Bhumi. Their journey unfolds as they participate in a unique race, bringing them closer and challenging societal norms.
Bhumi Shines in Netflix’s ‘Bhakshak’
While celebrating her Bollywood milestone, Bhumi Pednekar is also basking in the success of her latest project, Netflix’s ‘Bhakshak.’ The film explores the compelling journey of Vaishali Singh, an investigative journalist portrayed by Bhumi, on a mission to unveil a heinous crime and expose the grim reality of crimes against women.
