Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received a fresh bomb threat on March 2, Saturday. The Uttar Pradesh Police have registered a case against the unknown person who sent the threat.
The police lodged the case on March 4. According to the police, a call was made on March 2 to a chief constable posted at the security headquarters, threatening to blow up Yogi Adityanath.
Officials told ANI, “The caller told the Chief Constable that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be blown up by a bomb and disconnected the call.”
According to media reports, the police registered an FIR at the Mahanagar Police station against the caller and have started the investigation.
Threat for the second time
This is not the first time Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has received a death threat. Earlier this year, the CM received a similar threat to blow him up. The CM, along with the newly inaugurated Ram Mandir, was threatened by the caller ahead of the inauguration ceremony of the temple.

The two people who gave bomb threats were arrested by UP’s special task force from the Vibhuti Khand area of Gomti Nagar in the capital. The two accused were Tahar Singh and Omprakash Mishra. Both accused belonged to the Gonda district of the state.
