Budaun Deaths: The brutal murder of two minor brothers has shaken the state of Uttar Pradesh. The incident, which took place on Tuesday evening in the Baba Colony of Budaun, has infuriated the people of the locality.
The Incident
The incident unfolded on Tuesday, March 19, when a man with a knife killed two minor brothers brutally. The accused, by the name of Sajid (22), barged into the house of a family and attacked three brothers: Ayush (12), Ahaan alias Honey (8), and Yuvraj (10). The accused attacked the three brothers with an axe. Ayush and Ahaan could not survive the attack as they were brutally stabbed by the accused.
Yuvraj Survived the Attack
According to the information provided by Yuvraj to the media, the accused asked the kids to bring him tea after which he took Ayush and Ahaan upstairs to the terrace where he brutally killed the two brothers. The accused even tried to kill the third child, but he escaped after suffering some serious injuries inflicted by Sajid.

Sajid Killed in Encounter
After the incident, Sajid successfully fled the scene but was spotted by nearby people. After receiving the complaint, the police started the hunt for Sajid. The police found Sajid in the nearby forest of Shekhupur, where Sajid started firing shots at the police. In retaliation, the police fired shots as well, ending up taking him down. During the media briefing, Inspector General of Bareilly Range RK Singh said that the accused was found in blood-soaked clothes during the encounter.

Uproar in Budaun
After the unfortunate incident, the local people were infuriated and gathered around the house of the deceased children. Sajid had recently opened a barber shop in the locality. People even burned Sajid’s shop after the incident. The police deployed a large number of forces in the area in Budaun to prevent any communal violence from taking place. According to the police, the incident was not based on communal angles but rather on personal enmity.
Two People Involved in the Attack
According to the FIR lodged by the family of the victims, two people, namely Sajid and Javed, barged into their house. Sajid was the one who killed the two children. The police are hunting for Javed. The bodies of the two children were handed over to the family after postmortems.
