Seema Haider, who was born in Pakistan, is said to have asked President Droupadi Murmu for Indian citizenship in an appeal. This is in response to new information regarding the 30-year-old woman from Sindh who unlawfully entered India in May to join her boyfriend Sachin Meena in Greater Noida. Haider has asked in her plea to be able to stay in India. She says that Indian culture and customs have shaped her a lot. She has asked for forgiveness while people are working hard to send her back to Pakistan

In 2020, Haider met her partner Sachin Meena in a secret chat room for the online game PubG. Through playing PubG and talking on WhatsApp, they became friends, and then their friendship turned into love. In March of this year, Haider went to Nepal to stay with Meena for one week in a hotel room in Kathmandu.

Two months later, she went from Karachi to Dubai, then to Nepal, and then secretly entered India. Seema Haider and her four kids went to Greater Noida by way of Lucknow and Agra. Since then, they have been living with her lover.

On July 4, the Gautam Buddha Nagar Police arrested her, Meena, and his father. After three or four days, a local court granted release to the three suspects.

The UP Police’s Anti-Terrorist Squad talked to her and her partner for two days about her family and claims that her brother and uncle were in the Pakistan Army. A news story said that she could read an English text given to her by the detectives correctly.

Sources told the website that UP ATS officials also asked Haider about how well she knew Hindi because she would use hard Hindi words in TV talks. According to reports, Haider told ATS agents that she learned Hindi by playing PubG with Indians. But when told that her boyfriend, who is from Western Uttar Pradesh, didn’t use such hard terms, Haider didn’t say anything.

The website was told by sources that the UP ATS has suggested sending Seema back to Pakistan. But the Pakistani woman said that if she went back to her country, she would be killed.
