At Rajasthan Hospital in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad city, a fire blaze is said to be erupted at around 4:30 a.m. in the morning on Sunday causing a thick smoke to cover the area.

It is reported to be ablaze in the basement of the 10-storey-building. The cause of the fire remains unknown. There are no reports of casualties.125 paitents were reportedly evacuted for precautionary mesaures in city’s Sahibaug area.
It has been reported by the officials that a four-wheeler was parked in the basement of the Hospital which was said to be partially damaged which might have been the reason of the fire caused in the facility.
It is also said that a renovation work was underway in the Hopital premises and several item were stored in the basement which later caught fire causing even more damage to the place and a large amount of smoke was emitted from it.
There were several difficulties faced by the fire fighter while entering the basements because of the massive smoke emerging from the two basements. It took around eight hours to control the blaze. The cause of the fire still remains unsolved.
