During the scanning process on Thursday, police detained a man from Darbhanga airport after discovering two live cartridges in his luggage.
Vishnu Thakur, the individual who was arrested, is a resident of the Saharsa district and describes himself as a teacher by profession.
The Sadar police station’s SHO, Pawan Kumar Singh, verified the arrest and stated that the traveler had a ticket for Delhi.
The director of the Darbhanga airport Satyendra Jha stated that three people had used the same PNR number to book the airplane ticket when he was approached. He continued, saying that his wife and a relative had also decided to postpone their departure after learning about the arrest of one of the passengers.
Last year, on December 24, a passenger was caught at Darbhanga airport with a magazine and three live cartridges. Mohd Kalamuddin, a resident of Motihari district, had traveled to Darbhanga to catch a flight to Mumbai.
