Amul Vagad: Lok Sabha MP from Vagad, Kankamal Katara, MLA from Sagwada, Shankarlal Decha, former MLA Garhi, Gopichand Meena, convener of Vagad Warriors Naresh Patidar Divda, Patel Patidar, Dangi social organizations to directly benefit milk producers by collecting milk on Amul pattern. According to the details, Chief Surya Ahari and Lok Sabha Banswara-Dungarpur candidate Mahendrasinh Malviya submitted a demand letter to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan in the name of Union Minister for Cooperation Amit Shah, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Amul Federation Gujarat. It has been demanded to directly benefit these manufacturers.
In more detail, the letter demanded that milk collection by Saber, Madhur, Panchmahal (of Gujarat) district unions of Amul Federation in the border districts of Dungarpur, Banswara, Salambar, Udaipur and Pratapgarh of South Rajasthan is being done by private contractors.
It is to be mentioned that while milk is collected by private contractors, they do not give proper price to the milk producers. Due to malpractices in milk collection by private contractors, milk producers are not getting full price of milk and also the annual dividend rate is not given to the farmers by the cluster operator contractors and circle operators. .
It is being demanded that the said private contractor cluster operator should be closed down and milk purchase should be done online on Amul/Jaipur pattern so that farmers can get full supply of milk. And along with that the annual dividend value should be directly credited to the farmer’s account. That amount should not be credited to the account of the group and cluster.
Milk procurement should be done by dairy workers at cluster level and online procurement at group level should also be ensured. Along with this, there has been a demand to run multi state cooperatives in milk as well.
Around 2 lakh liter capacity packaging plant of Amul Sangh should be opened between Dungarpur, Banswada, Salamber and Udepur districts of Wagad-Mewar. So that the way of prosperity for the co-operative is paved, the way for the welfare and upliftment of the last peasant families at the bottom of every class and society will be paved. With it, pastoral families can be empowered with self-reliance and economic benefits.
