In the new report of CERT-In ‘India Ransomware Report 2022’, it has been reported that ransomware attacks have increased in India. This report is from last year i.e. 2022. The biggest impact of these attacks has been on the IT sector. Apart from this, healthcare, education, and transportation have also been affected. In the last few years, the risk of cyber-attacks has been increasing. This problem is also very serious for the Government of India. According to a recent report, the risk of ransomware is increasing. It is being told that the threat of ransomware is increasing in 2022 and this year ransomware gangs have increased their attacks with widespread, frequency and complexity. According to India’s nodal cyber security agency, Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), the country witnessed a 53% year-on-year increase in ransomware incidents in the year 2022. According to CERT-In’s ‘India Ransomware Report 2022’, IT and ITeS were the most targeted sectors, followed by finance and
