Bhartiya Janta Party has released the second list of candidates today. The party has released a total of 72 names from various states. Names of many big shots have been included. The party aims for 400 seats in the upcoming elections and thus does not want to take any risks hence is choosing there trusted candidates who have their names big and clear.  Lets see who are they :

Nitin Gadkari

One of the most popular and respected leaders of BJP, Nitin Gadkari’s name was absent from he first list, and thus was anticipated to be included in the BJP second list. Nitin Gadkari will be contesting elections from Nagpur. He is currently serving as the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways.

Prahlad Joshi

Pralhad Venkatesh Joshi also gets a ticket from Dharwad. He is currently serving as the union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines of India,

Anurag Thakur from Hamirpur- Anurag Thakur will be contesting the elections from Hamirpur. He is currently serving as the Union Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs and Minister of Information and Broadcasting.

Manohar Lal Khattar included in BJP second list

Manohar Lal Khattar, who resigned from the position of Chief Minister of Haryana on March 12, will be contesting Lok Sabha Elections from the Karnal constituency.

Piyush Goyal

Piyush Goyal currently serving as the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Textiles will also be contesting the upcoming elections from the constituency of North Mumbai in Maharashtra.

Ranjanben Bhatt

The face of BJP in Vadodara, Ranjanaben Bhatt,  is being retained by the party on the basis of her good track record for the past many years.
