On Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) revealed its second list of 72 candidates for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The roster includes several notable figures from the political landscape, reaffirming the party’s strategy for the crucial electoral contest.
Among the prominent names featured in the second list are Manohar Lal Khattar, Nitin Gadkari, Anurag Thakur, Piyush Goyal, and Tejasvi Surya, among others. Notably, Khattar, who recently stepped down from the position of Haryana Chief Minister, will be contesting from Karnal. His choice to enter the Lok Sabha contest had been expected after his resignation, signifying a notable transition in his political trajectory.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s inclusion in the list comes as a relief to many supporters, as his name was initially absent from the first list of candidates.
