Rail Roko in the Country on March 10

These farmer organizations will hold a nationwide four-hour strike called ‘Rail Roko’ (Stop Trains) on March 10 to exert pressure on the central government to meet their various demands. These demands include a legal guarantee on the minimum support price (MSP) for crops, pension for farmers and laborers, farm loan waiver, etc.

Farmers March to Delhi Again (Chalo Delhi)

Today, on Wednesday, farmer organizations will march to Delhi with their various demands. The Delhi Police has increased vigilance at Tikri, Singhu, and Ghazipur borders since late at night. Strict security arrangements have also been made for the Kisan Andolan at railway and metro stations and bus stands.

Section 144 Imposed in Delhi

Farmers from all over the country have given a call to reach Delhi (Chalo Delhi) on March 6. Many farmers of Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Kisan Morcha (non-political) are involved in this movement. A Delhi official stated that Section 144 has been imposed in Delhi, prohibiting the gathering of four or more people at one place.
