In different parts of the nation, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) raised the cost of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs.21 per cylinder. The increase will take effect today, December 1. This latest update comes after a Rs.57 drop on November 16 and an increase of Rs. 100 on November 1.

On the other hand, the cost of domestic LPG, which is used in kitchens for cooking, stayed at Rs.903 for a 14.2-kg cylinder.

What is the price of 19kg Cylinder in different states?

A 19 kg LPG cylinder now costs Rs.1796.50 in Delhi, Rs.1908 in Kolkata, Rs.1749 in Mumbai, and Rs.1968.50 in Chennai due to the price increase.

A 19kg LPG cylinder used to cost Rs.1775.50 in Delhi, Rs.1885.50 in Kolkata, Rs.1728 in Mumbai, and Rs. 1942 in Chennai.

In reference to earlier data, the 19-kg cylinder’s rate saw an increase of Rs.209 in October. Before that, on September 1st, the government had cut the cost of commercial gas cylinders by approximately Rs.158, and on August 1st, the cost of the 19-kg cylinder was lowered by Rs.99.75.

In addition, the price of jet fuel, or ATF, was dropped by 4.6 percent, marking the second drop in a single month. According to a price announcement from state-owned fuel retailers, the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) in the nation’s capital has dropped from Rs.1,11,344.92 per kilolitre to Rs.1,06,155.67 per kl.

On the first of each month, the state-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) adjust the prices of cooking gas and ATF based on the average international price of the previous month and other factors.

Previously, the cabinet increased the LPG subsidy by Rs.100

Prior to this, on October 4, the Union cabinet had approved an increase in the subsidy for cooking gas for about 96 million low-income households, increasing it from Rs. 200 to Rs. 300 per cylinder.

Also, the government extended PM Ujjwala Yojana program to 7.5 million women now, with total number of beneficiaries reached to 103.5 million.
