For the past few weeks, the seat-sharing between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress has been a matter of focus in the country’s politics. Yesterday, Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj gave out the information that the two parties will soon announce the seat-sharing numbers to public.
Seat-sharing
Congress leader, Mukul Wasnik on February 24 in a press conference held in Delhi announced the seat sharing numbers between Congress and Lok Sabha in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Congress and AAP will fight together in Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana, Haryana, and Goa while they will fight separately in Punjab.
Both the parties have agreed to fight separately in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Pathak said that both AAP and Congress will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Punjab separately.
Delhi Seat-Sharing
Mukul Wasnik announced that AAP will contest 4 seats from Delhi while Congress will fight on 4 seats. AAP will contest on the New Delhi, the West Delhi, the South Delhi and the East Delhi seats. Congress will contest from e Chandni Chowk, the Northeast Delhi and the Northwest Delhi. Both the parties will fight on their separate symbols. All the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi were won by BJP in 2019.

Haryana and Goa
In Haryana, since AAP does not have a strong hold in the state, it will only fight on one seat from Kurukshetra. Congress will contest from the remaining 9 seats.
In Goa, Congress will contest elections on both the seats.
Gujarat
After long decisions, it was decided that AAP will fight from 2 Lok Sabha seats in the state of Gujarat while Congress will fight on the remaining 24 seats. AAP will contest elections from Bharuch and Bhavnagar. Bharuch is seen as a fort of Congress with the legacy of Ahmed Patel. Sandeep Pathak said “Today the country needs a strong alternative. This alliance has been formed in the interest of the country. This election will be fought by the INDIA bloc. The BJP’s calculations will go wrong because of the alliance,
