The political storm in Himachal does not seem to calm down as Congress MLA Rajinder Rana taken a dig on his party for inefficient government. Member of Legislative Assembly from Himachal Pradesh Rajinder Raja has resigned from his post of Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee and shared the information by posting his resignation letter on Facebook. let us know the whole story:

Rajinder Rana resigns from his post

Rajinder Rana on March 6th posted his resignation letter on Facebook written to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. He was disqualified as an MLA of Sujanpur from Vidhan Sabha of Himachal Pradesh for his recent rebellious acts. Rana was one of the 6 MLAs who cross voted for BJP nominee for the Rajya Sabha elections. Congress party was annoyed with this behaviour, he finally disqualified him for which he approached the apex court as well.

Rajinder Rana : “Write a book on broken Promises”

Expressing his discontentment with Congress, he said that he has been trying to request the congress high command in the state as well as in Delhi to fulfil the promises, but only got humiliation and no support. Earlier Rajinder Rana along with other 5 MLAs voted for the BJP candidate JP candidate Harsh Mahajan for Rajya Sabha. In the facebook post he said that he is responsible and accountable to the citizens of Himachal and not to the one sitting on the chair of CM.

He said that the promises that he and the party made during the Vidhan Sabha elections in Himachal are nowhere even close to getting fulfilled. He said that if he starts talking about the list of broken promises they made to the public of Devbhoomi, then he could write a full fledged book.  He furter said that he was left with no choice but to go against the Himachal Sukhu government as his requested were unheard by the government.

He added that he will never compromise with his ethics and values of being a Sanatani and Himachali. At the end, he requested the people of Himachal to support him as they always have.
