Under the ongoing storm in the political environment of Himachal Pradesh, the government has come across some relief. According to media reports, son of former CM Virbhadra Singh, Vikramaditya Singh has withdrawn his resignation. Rajiv Shukla has said that the Vikramaditya has taken back his resignation adding the organisation is bigger than the person.

Sukhu Sarkar is safe for now
Vikramaditya Singh has assured that the Congress government in Himachal is all stable. Earlier on Wednesday, Vikramaditya Singh resigned from his ministerial post after which Himachal government was on the road to instability. Singh indirectly accused CM Sukhu for insult. After the meeting of senior congress leaders with Vikramaditya and other MLAs, things seem to get better in the state.

Congress government will complete
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured that he is confident that his government will complete is term. He also told media that neither he has submitted resignation nor is he asked to submit his resignation by the party and the fake news was spread by BJP for political gains.

Giving a huge blow to the ruling Congress in Himachal Pradesh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday won the only Rajya Sabha seat of the state. BJP candidate Harsh Mahajan defeated senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, setting the stage for a no-confidence motion in the Assembly. Sukhu said, “But one thing I want to say is that the people of Himachal are with us, the MLAs are with us and I can definitely say that we will run the government of Himachal for five years.”

Six MLAs voted against the party…
Out of 68 seats in the state assembly, Congress has 40 seats and BJP has 25 seats. There are three independent (Himachal Sukhu Govt Safe) MLAs in the state. Voting for the Rajya Sabha seat on Tuesday was a tie, officials said. Both Congress and BJP candidates got 34 votes, indicating that at least six Congress MLAs voted against the party. He said the winner was decided through a lottery system.
