In a significant development, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is contemplating noteworthy modifications for the upcoming CUET-UG exam. As per a report by news agency PTI, the normalization of scores, a practice employed in previous editions, might be discontinued. Furthermore, there are discussions about shortening the exam duration and exploring a hybrid mode of testing, integrating OMR sheets and computer-based testing.

Amidst these proposed changes, concerns have been raised by students regarding the impact of score normalization on their performance in the exam. To address these apprehensions and ensure fairness, adjustments are being made to maintain a moderate difficulty level for the questions.
Restructuring of CUET-UG
As part of the restructuring process, students will now have the opportunity to choose their preferred exam location.
