The communal violence is spreading to the neighboring districts, causing havoc in Nuh. Several clashes are being carried out. This led to a death of a cleric and a mosque was destroyed in Sector 57. Many shops around the districts were vandalized and looted.

According to the district information and public relations officer of Gurugram, education institutions are to be remained closed on Tuesday, including the coaching centers. The employees from several information and corporate companies are requested to work from their homes and all private banks closed early for the employee’s safety.

The Delhi police are reportedly ready to handle the situation and they have enhanced their patrolling after getting the news of the violence spreading to Gurugram and joining areas of Haryana.

Meetings regarding the maintenance of peace are held with the committees to ensure safety in their areas. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar suspected a “well thought out conspiracy behind the clashes”. 25 huts were set on fire in the Pulwama district of Gurugram but reportedly, no one was injured. According to Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav, the situation has been under control now, markets are reopened and normalcy is restored.
