At the opening ceremony in Sikar, PM Modi said, “Today, under the PM Kisan Samriddhi, the farmers of the country received 18,000 crores. There are now 1.25 million PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) in the country.

Farmers will benefit from PMKSYs centres at the block and village levels. Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) for nation farmers has also begun. The various regions of Rajasthan have also gotten medical colleges and Eklavya model schools.

After a long time since independence, a government is now in power that sympathises with the pain and sorrow of farmers, as well as their concerns. As a result, decisions have been made continuously in the farmers’ best interests over the past 9 years,” he added.

The development of modern infrastructure in Rajasthan is a top priority for the central government, according to PM Modi. He also stated that the BJP-led the state will not let farmers suffer because of the high cost of urea. Farmers use their strength and hard work to dig gold out of the ground. This is why, PM Modi said, their government stands with the farmers of the nation.

He also addressed the absence of Rajasthan’s chief minister, Ashok Gehlot, explaining that Gehlot has been ill for some time and so was unable to attend today’s ceremony.

CM Ashok Gehlot has been injured and has been sick for a while. He had planned to be at today’s event, but his health prevented him from doing so, PM Modi has prayed for his good health.

However, earlier today Gehlot asserted that the PM’s office had removed his remarks from the Modi event.  He tweeted, “Your office’s PMO has removed my pre-scheduled three-minute speech from the programme, so I cannot welcome you with a speech, but I do want to extend a warm welcome to Rajasthan.”

Following this, PM Modi clarified that he has been invited to the event, but Gehlot will be unable to attend, as reported by his office.

“You have been invited and your speech has been scheduled in accordance with protocol, Ashok Gehlot ji. However, your company has informed us that you cannot participate”. The PMO replied, “You have been invited to all of the PM’s previous visits and have attended each and every one of the programmes”.
