On Thursday, while visiting ‘Devbhoomi’ in Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers and performed a puja at Parvati Kund in Pithoragarh.

At the holy Adi-Kailash’s residence, a location recognized for its spiritual significance and unmatched, breathtaking natural beauty, PM Modi also asked for his blessings.
The quick growth of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and the welfare of each and every resident of the state are two things that Modi had stated in a post on X, that he will dedicate and lay the cornerstone for various initiatives in Pithoragarh to increase its speed.

“I will also have the excellent opportunity to interact with the people of Gunji village. I’m also eagerly anticipating visiting the spiritually significant Parvati Kund on the trip and going to a puja at Jageshwar Dham”, he continued. Along with the Army, ITBP, and BRO, he is also expected to visit the village of Gunji and engage in conversation with the locals.
At the Jageshwar Dham, he would then offer prayers to Lord Shiva before delivering a speech to the Pithoragarh crowd.
He would also communicate with Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) officials. The Prime Minister will arrive in Jageshwar, Almora district, about noontime, and perform pooja and give a darshan at Jageshwar Dham.
The Jageshwar Dham, which is situated at a height of roughly 6200 feet, has about 224 stone temples, according to a statement from the PMO.
A varied variety of development projects worth a combined investment of almost 4,200 crore are scheduled to have their foundations laid by Prime Minister Modi.
