PM Modi reached out to the citizens of the country on Friday, just a day before the announcement of election dates. In his letter addressed to the nation, PM Modi reflected on his time in office and discussed various achievements during his tenure, including the repeal of Article 370, the Women’s Reservation Act, a law against Triple Talaq, and the construction of a new Parliament building.

Citizens are Family In his letter, Prime Minister Modi referred to the citizens as “family member(s)” and highlighted the policies and programs implemented during his previous terms. He also invited recommendations from the public.

“Our government’s greatest accomplishment over the last decade has been the transformation of people’s lives,” stated the prime minister, emphasizing the government’s sincere efforts to improve the quality of life for different segments of society such as the poor, farmers, youth, and women.

PM Modi Discusses Achievements PM Modi further elaborated on the achievements of the central government, citing successful initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (providing pucca houses), the Matru Vandana Yojana (assisting women), and the Ayushman Bharat (offering free medical treatments). He attributed these accomplishments to the trust placed in him by the public.

Addressing issues of terrorism and Left-Wing Extremism (LWE), Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the repeal of Article 370, the Women’s Reservation Act, a law against Triple Talaq, and the construction of a new Parliament building as significant achievements of his government.

Seeking Unwavering Support In his letter, PM Modi appealed for unwavering support from the public, emphasizing that the progress of democracy and the vision of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) rely on public participation.
