Milk will get expensive in the upcoming days as Gujarat Dairy Co-operative Milk hikes milk prices by Rs 3 per litre. The hike has been made following the rise in the price of the overall cost of operation and production of milk. The company on Thursday issued a statement regarding the same.After the revision, the price for Amul Gold will be Rs 66 per litre, Amul Taza will be Rs 54 per litre, Amul Cow milk will be Rs 56 per litre, and Amul A2 buffalo milk will be Rs 70 per litre. According to the statement made by the company, the cattle feeding cost has increased by 20 per cent as compared to last year. Considering this the member unions of the company have increased farmer’s prices in the range of 8-9 per cent over last year.Last year in October Amul raised the prices of Milk by Rs 2 per litre.
