Celebrating Akshardham Day :Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar

Pramukh Swami Maharaj and two of his greatest creations, Swaminarayan Akshardham in Gandhinagar, Gujarat and New Delhi, represent the very best of Hindu culture and values. Akshardham, in Swaminarayan theology, is the heavenly abode of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. By building grand Akshardham mandirs as representations of Bhagwan Swaminarayan’s eternal abode, Pramukh Swami Maharaj fulfilled the wish of his guru, Yogiji Maharaj, and offered tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. He hoped that those visiting Akshardham would experience peace, gain inspiration from the life and teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, and learn more about Hindu heritage and culture. To fulfil his guru’s wish of building a temple in Delhi, Pramukh Swami Maharaj persevered for 32 years to acquire land to build Swaminarayan Akshardham. Celebrating BAPS Asia-Pacific Day : Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar

On 11 January 2023, BAPS devotees from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region presented a creative programme titled ‘BAPS Asia-Pacific Day’ to tens of thousands assembled in Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar. Following the special programme, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj and dignitaries from around the world paid tribute to Pramukh Swami Maharaj and his work of inspiring spirituality, temples and humanitarian service in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.Pramukh Swami Maharaj inspired an array of humanitarian activities and fostered the spiritual and cultural heritage of thousands through 18 BAPS mandirs in the Asia-Pacific region. The five-year international celebrations of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj will culminate in a grand month-long festival from Thursday 15 December 2022 to Sunday 15 January 2023 in Ahmedabad, honoring the life and work of the globally revered Hindu guru who personified his teaching, “In the joy of others lies our own.”Pramukh Swami Maharaj who have  inspired millions around the world to live a life infused with love and peace, faith in God and service to humanity. Celebrating Women Empowerment day : Pramukh Swami Maharaj

Renowned Gujarati folk singers and litterateurs performed on the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar stage on the evening of 4 January 2023 to celebrate “Gujarat Day: Celebrating Glorious Gujrat” and lyrically extolled the spiritual, social and cultural contributions of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj to Gujarat. ‘Family Unity day’ was celebrated on 29th of December, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj and several dignitaries paid homage to Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s efforts to strengthen family unity in millions of homes around the world as tens of thousands gathered to commemorate ‘Family Unity Day: Celebrating Family Values’ at Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar on 29 December 2022.
