Kirron Kher tested +ve for Covid-19

Actress turned Politician Kirron Kher has now been tested positive for Covid-19. She informed about the same to her fans and all those who came in her contact via her official Twitter account on March 20. In her note, Kirron also asked people who came in contact with her to get themselves tested. 60 cases of H3N2 influenza across Odisha in 2 months

 Out Of all the  225 samples collected in January and February in Odisha, 59 were found positive for H3N2 influenza across the state, officials said on Saturday.  Talking about the disease, H3N2 is a non-human influenza virus that normally circulates in pigs and has apparently infected humans too according to the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.Currently, there is “no definitive treatment available” for the virus and hence, people should “strictly follow the Covid guidelines to keep H3N2 at bay,” Odisha Public Health Director Niranjan Mishra said. Country witnesses 2 deaths due to H3N2 influenza, Each from Karnataka and Haryana

Two individuals have died of influenza caused by the H3N2 Influenza, Government made it clear, Each one from Karnataka and Haryana. Talking about the 1st patient who lost his life due to influenza, an 82-year-old man in Karnataka’s Hassan is believed to be the first to die of influenza in the country. Hire Gowda(Patient) was admitted to the hospital on 24th February and died on March 1, according to the medical reports patient was reportedly a diabetic and suffered from hypertension.Talking about the virus, around 90 fresh cases have been till date detected across the country, other than that 8 cases of the H1N1 virus has also been detected till now. The actual concern here is that no. of cases of the flu are increasing day by day, Most of the infections are caused by the H3N2 virus, also known as the “Hong Kong Flu”.
