Here are ten important facts about the Biparjoy Cyclone

Beginning on June 13,
the state administration will begin evacuating residents from vulnerable
regions up to 5 kilometers inland. On June 14, residents of huts and kuchcha
houses up to 10 kilometers inland will be relocated.

1.    Control room configuration by Railways

PTI stated that in
order to keep trains running in many areas of Gujarat, the Indian Railways activated
a disaster management room and opened emergency control centres.

“State and federal
governments are on high alert. Twelve NDRF teams have been deployed in the
districts of Kutch, Porbandar, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Morbi,
and Rajkot, according to Alok Kumar Pandey, the relief commissioner.

Signal No. 1: Signal No. 1 is used when the
speed of the wind is between 1 and 5 km/h.

Signal No. 2: This signal is raised over the
port when the wind speed is between 6 and 12 km per hour.

Signal No. 3: The wind speed is between 13 and
20 km per hour.

Signal No. 4: This signal is used when the

Signal No. 5: The port raises Signal No. 5

Cyclone Biparjoy Live Updates: Biparjoy’ will be the Arabian Sea’s longest-lived cyclone. According to IMD data

On Sunday, the previously severe cyclonic storm known as
Biparjoy evolved into an extremely severe cyclonic storm while it was located
over the east-central Arabian Sea. As a direct result of this, the IMD has
issued a yellow advisory for Mumbai and Thane for the day of Monday, which
indicates strong winds in a few specific locations. There were reports of roofs
blown off of some homes in slum colonies as a result of the severe winds that
blew across portions of the city throughout the course of the weekend.
