Talking about the 1st patient who lost his life due to influenza, an 82-year-old man in Karnataka’s Hassan is believed to be the first to die of influenza in the country. Hire Gowda(Patient) was admitted to the hospital on 24th February and died on March 1, according to the medical reports patient was reportedly a diabetic and suffered from hypertension.Talking about the virus, around 90 fresh cases have been till date detected across the country, other than that 8 cases of the H1N1 virus has also been detected till now. The actual concern here is that no. of cases of the flu are increasing day by day, Most of the infections are caused by the H3N2 virus, also known as the “Hong Kong Flu”. A 3-year-old boy – who was not immunized against measles – is suspected to have succumbed to the infection on December 27, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in its report.Since the outbreak in October 2022, the city has seen sixteen deaths of which eight are suspected of measles. As per BMC health officials, the child was admitted to a BMC-run hospital on December 26 after he developed breathing difficulty, three days after getting a fever followed by rashes. BMC said his condition worsened and he died of septic shock, anaemia, and malnutrition.The city has seen 549 laboratory-confirmed measles cases in 2022. The M-East ward, where the latest measles victim lived, has seven outbreaks and 71 measles cases. meanwhile, during the outbreak response immunisation (ORI) undertaken by the civic body, 38.30% (99,861) of the eligible children between 9 months to 5 years of age and 45.59% (2,413) eligible children from 6 months to 9 months have been immunized.Also read: Rest in P

The news of her sudden demise has left many shocked. Tunisha was playing the lead role in SAB TV’s show Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul. However, the reason behind her death is yet to be revealed. According to the news reports on the internet, Tunisha died by suicide on the set of the show itself and ended her life by hanging herself in the make-up room. She was taken to the hospital, however, she was declared dead. Tunisha, who was playing the role of Maryam in Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul, had appeared in many serials earlier also such as Ashok Samrat, Gabbar Poonchwala, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, Internet Wala Love and Isk Subhanallah.
