Talking about the 1st patient who lost his life due to influenza, an 82-year-old man in Karnataka’s Hassan is believed to be the first to die of influenza in the country. Hire Gowda(Patient) was admitted to the hospital on 24th February and died on March 1, according to the medical reports patient was reportedly a diabetic and suffered from hypertension.Talking about the virus, around 90 fresh cases have been till date detected across the country, other than that 8 cases of the H1N1 virus has also been detected till now.
