Filmfare OTT Awards : Rocketboys on the top, Gullak, Panchayat also in the list.

Jim Sharab and Ishwak Singh’s web series Rocket Boys won big at the Filmfare OTT Awards held in Mumbai on Sunday. Jim Sarbh attended the event in a dark grey suit and took home the Best Actor, Drama, Critics (male) award. Tabbar too took home the Best Series Critics, Best Director Critics and Best Actor, Drama and Supporting Actor awards. Pathan controversy : Won’t allow Pathan to be released in any theaters of Bihar, BJP MLA.

Another statement released in relation to the Pathan controversy . Recently BJP leader Hari Bhushan Thakur Bachaul has threatened to not allow the release of the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starter film ‘Pathaan’ in Bihar.This was when, controversy around ‘Pathaan’ was triggered after Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra objected to a song from the film titled ‘Besharam Rang’, claiming that it hurt religious sentiments of the Hindu community. Mishra said the way the colours saffron and green have been used in the costumes used in the song is objectionable.BJP Leader further stated, “It was a dirty effort by the makers of the film to weaken the ‘Sanatan’ culture of the country. Kerala Movie theaters now have “Crying room” facilites : Know the full story.

A government-run film theatre complex in Kerala has set up a “crying room” for parents to take their children who get uncomfortable inside a theatre. The sound-proof room comes with a few seats for parents or caregivers to watch the film. Kerala Cultural Affairs Minister VN Vasavan on Monday shared photos of the room that has been set up at the Kairali-Sree-Nila theatre complex in state capital Thiruvananthapuram. The “crying room” comes with a crib and a diaper changing facility. Arrangements have been made for parents or caregivers to watch the film inside this room comfortably, the minister said.’“Parents who bring their children to the theatre can rarely enjoy a film. Children often get uncomfortable with the darkness, sounds and lights inside the theatre and have to step out,” Vasavan wrote in Malayalam on Facebook.
