The police-carrying gangster turned politician Atiq Ahmed from Sabarmati jail to Prayagraj has now entered Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning according to officials.The police entered Ahmedabad jail on Sunday and left for Prayagraj with Ahmed at around 6pm. Talking about the current location, after passing various states Ahmed along with police has now entered UP early morning at around 6am and stopped at Jhansi police lines. Further, the officials have confirmed they will reach Prayagraj in the evening via the  Bundelkhand Expressway.Other than Atiq Ahmed, his brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, who was logged in Bareliy jail was also taken to Prayagraj by a separate police force. Ahead of state’s election, Karnataka government on Friday announced that the reservation given to minorities including Muslims would now be added to the present quota for the dominant communities across the state.That means the 4% reservation given to the Muslims under OBC Section would now be divided amongst the 2 major communities across the state which are Lingayats and Vokkalingas.  2 new reservations under the C and 2D were created during the Belagavi Assembly Session last year.Now the state’s cabinet has decided to being the religious minority community under the EWS category.
