On 8 January 2023, BAPS devotees from the UK and Europe presented a creative programme titled, ‘In His Own Words: BAPS UK and Europe Day’ to tens of thousands assembled in Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar celebrating Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s contributions to fostering the cultural and spiritual heritage of thousands in UK and Europe. 3 year old infant lost life due to measles in Mumbai

A 3-year-old boy – who was not immunized against measles – is suspected to have succumbed to the infection on December 27, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in its report.Since the outbreak in October 2022, the city has seen sixteen deaths of which eight are suspected of measles. As per BMC health officials, the child was admitted to a BMC-run hospital on December 26 after he developed breathing difficulty, three days after getting a fever followed by rashes. BMC said his condition worsened and he died of septic shock, anaemia, and malnutrition.The city has seen 549 laboratory-confirmed measles cases in 2022. The M-East ward, where the latest measles victim lived, has seven outbreaks and 71 measles cases. meanwhile, during the outbreak response immunisation (ORI) undertaken by the civic body, 38.30% (99,861) of the eligible children between 9 months to 5 years of age and 45.59% (2,413) eligible children from 6 months to 9 months have been immunized.Also read: Rest in P

Haryana Sports Minister resigns after FIR registered against him : Sandeep Singh

Haryana Sports Minister have resigned from his post today after FIR was loged against him. Sandeep Singh summitted his resignation letter while asking for an independent probe into allegations of sexual harassments against him in Chandigarh.While talking about the problem Sandeep singh said that allegations against him are manipulated and he has finally decided to leave the post of State’s Sport’s minister. 18 children Dead in Uzbekistan: After consumption of India linked Cough Syrup

After the gambia incident, Health Ministry of Uzbekistan has now claimed that 18 children of their country died after consuming a cough syrup manufactured in Noida.The health ministry of Uzbekistan has confirmed that 18 out of 21 children who consumed that  Doc-1 Max syrup, who all were suffering from a acute respiratory disease lost their lives.
