Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a bullock cart ride from Kota Khurd village to Sawai Madhopur after taking a refreshing tea break on the seventh day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan today.According to AICC General Secretary Jairam Ramesh’s tweet, “Rahul would travel 13 kilometres before departing for Shimla to attend the inauguration of his party’s government in Himachal Pradesh. Ramesh further added that the Congress leader would complete the remaining 9 kilometres of Yatra in the district this evening.”Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Rajasthan on December 5. Before reaching Sawai Madhopur, the yatra covered Jhalawar, Kota districts and Bundi. Now it will proceed towards Dausa and Alwar districts. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu takes oath as new CM of Himachal Pradesh : Promises to implement OPS soon.

Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. Soon after he was sworn in, the former Congress state chief said, “We have given 10 guarantees and we will implement them. We will give a transparent and honest government. In a search operation conducted by the Border Security Force of India over night 3 Pakistan Fishermen have been caught by them till now. The operation was conducted by the team in the midnight nd the fishermen were caught on 12th of December by BSF Bhuj from Harami Nalla.  The operation was planned when the BSF noticed some movements of a Pakistani fishing boat having 3 fishermen in the general area of Harami Nalla. Karnataka Governement to rename age old ritual : salam Aarti to Namaskara.

Recently the BJP in Karnataka has decided to rename the ages old ritual which was once started by Tipu Sultan . The ritual is going to be renamed as Namaskara from Salam Aarti.Aarti’ ritual that was started by a temple in Karnataka’s Kollur in Mysuru ruler Tipu Sultan’s honor. The ritual will now be named as ‘Namaskara’. itual was started during the time of Mysuru ruler Tipu Sultan. Tipu got the worship done on his behalf for the welfare of the Mysuru kingdom. Cyclone Mandous, a severe cyclonic storm, made landfall late Friday night, crossing the coast in Tamil Nadu with a wind speed of 75 km an hour.
