Celebrating the Sant Samelan: Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar.

Sant Sammelan day was being celebrated o 25th of December at the pramukh Swami maharaj Nagar, where over around 250 Mahants and Acharyas showed their presence at the event in Ahmedabad. A special convention was being held in presence of great Aacharyas and Sants from all over the country.Bhagwan Swaminarayan rejuvenated the monastic heritage during his presence on earth over 240 years ago. The person, who was devotinal and loved to offer devotinal service, but the only thing was the addition to smoking. After arriving at the Nagar, he would smoke20 cigarettes and consume 20 rajanigandha pans daily, spending around 15,000 rs per month.A swami with whom he was serving encouraged him to work on giving up his addiction. He was eventually able to cut his intake of cigarettes to one or two a day, and on 19 September 2022, the birthday of Mahant Swami Maharaj, he gave up his addiction entirely. Day 2 : Amit Shah inaugurates ‘International Convention’ at Ahemedabad

‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar’, the culmination of the five-year centenary celebrations of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, was inaugurated on Wednesday, 14 December in Ahmedabad by PM Narendra Modi in presence of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.The opening marked the public dedication of the month-long festival spread over 600 acres that include attractions, insightful exhibitions and enlightening programmes that are free to all visitors.Prime Minister Modi and Mahant Swami Maharaj commenced the auspicious inauguration ceremony amid the chanting of Vedic mantras and puja from the Sant Dwar, the majestic 380-foot-wide entrance gate honouring the great sages and saints across the country.
