MCD Election Results : AAP crosses the Majority mark.

Just after the AAM Admi Party (AAP) crosses the majority votes, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal thanked to all the people in believing in him and his party as they elected him for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi Election.Also read :  Mira Bai Chanu Brings home Silver Medal : Despite having wrist issue.With over 260 wards in MCD, parties needed 126 seats for the victory, here BJP got only 104 seats, which was already cleared by the Exit pollls as no exit poll showed the party getting more than 91 seats. The Congress has managed to stake a claim over seven seats. Interestingly, three of these wards were won by the AAP in 2017 and one by the BJP. Independent candidate Shakeela Begum has won the Seelampur seat, while Meena Devi and Gajender Singh Daral have won the Isapur and Mundka seats, respectively.This was the first election after the MCD was reunified earlier this year. The Gujarat Assembly Elections have finally come to an end, and the excit polls have predicted the next party to serve the state. According to the prediction there is a big majority for the BJP in Gujarat.
