Veteran writer Javed Akhtar while launching his Urdu poetry album ‘Shayarana – Sartaj’ along with his wife Shabana Azmi, emphasized the importance of Urdu not only for him but for te country too, While his book launch he also said that Urdu is not a Pakistani Language but has originated from India.he further spoke about the poems in the nearly extinct language  ‘Urdu’ from Punjab and praised Dr. Satinder Sartaaj for keeping it alive.
