Today is the day fir the 1st match of 16th addition of Indian Premier League. As now it a tradition that defending champions play the first match and this time we will see the Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, against 4times champions Chennai Super Kings lead by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.The 1st match between both the teams is to be played today at around 7:30pm and prior to that there will be a grand opening ceremony to mark the beginning of the next edition of the IPL. The 1st match is scheduled to be played in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.If talking about performers, according to reports Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia are likely to perform at the opening ceremony of IPL 2023. India won the four-Test series against Australia after the fourth and final Test ended in a draw at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday.Australia was at 175 for 2 in 78.1 overs in their second innings when the players from the two teams decided to shake hands. Women’s Premier League begins today, 5 teams, 22 matches- see schedule, venues

The Women’s Premier League is about to begin in just a few hours. The first match of this tournament will be played at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The first match will be played between Mumbai Indians vs Gujarat Giants. There are a total of 5 teams in this tournament and a total of 22 matches will be played. While the final match will be played on 26 March 2023 at Brabourne Stadium. BCCI has organized this tournament in the stadiums of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Five teams will face each other twice in the league round. That is, a team will play 8 matches before the final round. There will be a total of 20 matches in the league round.
