The most awaited fight between the two infamous billionaires is unlikely to happen. The fans who were eagerly looking forward to this match have to put a hold on it. Zuckerberg was heard saying to the employees at the company’s town hall that he was ,”Not sure if it’s going to come together”, disappointing a large population who highly anticipated the duo to come together in a ‘cage match’. Apparantly, Musk tweeted in a innocuous way, challenging Zuckerberg in a physical ‘cage match’ to which Zuckerberg responded, posting on his instagram story , in just three words i.e., “send me location”. Musk, then took a screenshot of his story and tweeted, “If this is real, I will do it”.
After that he tweeted,”Vegas Octagon” which might be the location of the fight. In a humourous way he tweeted about having a great move called ‘The Walrus’ where he just lies on top of his opponent and does nothing. Both of them seemed quite serious about it. UFC president Dana also confirmed that they are ‘dead serious’.
The people online were going feral over the excitement to see this unusual match between the duo. Some even started suggesting locations and many were looking forward to the official date of the match.
A trainer, reportedly said that Zuckerberg was well-prepared for the challenge. Meanwhile, Musk is said to be practising through sparring sessions with podcaster Lex Fridman and he is said to be engaged in some form of training by accepting the offer from UFC champion Georges St-Pierre.
But the recent comment by Zuckerberg expressing his uncertainity towards the match, has left people in confusion and majorly disappointment over the chances of the match being called-off. Musk is yet to respond to the news.
Even UFC president Dana White expressed her interest in the match, saying that the organisation was ready to provide them with the necessary assistance. However, it remains uncertain as to what will happen next.
