Almost after a year of its release, The kashmir files still is making news beyond the Box office, as finally the film has been selected for the Switzerland International Film Festival. Taking the news to social media, maker of the film Vivek Agnihotri shared the news with the fans, and captioned the post as, “Happy to inform that #TheKashmirFiles has been selected in the ‘OFFICIAL SELECTION’ category of the prestigious Switzerland International Film Festival.”
Talking about the film, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a heart-wrenching film that captures the pain, suffering, and struggle of the Kashmiri Pandit community during the exodus of 1990. Apart from sparking a huge debate on Kashmir and the specter of terrorism, the film collected Rs 340.92 crore worldwide.
The film had a great impact on the audience, and it tried to its fullest to pass the message and all those feelings that a kashmiri pandithad during that time. And the nomination of the film in one of the international film festivals is a grat news, and makes every Indian proud of it.

Agnihotri and ‘The Kashmir Files’ producer and actress Pallavi Joshi, meanwhile, are gearing up to shoot their upcoming film, ‘The Vaccine War’, which is touted to be the story of India’s race to develop an indigenous vaccine against Covid-19.
