At current prices, Telangana will have the highest per capita income of all Indian states in 2022-23, at Rs 3,08,732. This is according to statistics from the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). It is followed by Karnataka, whose per-person income is Rs 3,01,673, and Haryana, whose per-person income is Rs 296,685.

Since last year, the income per person in Telangana went up a lot. Last year, Telangana had the highest per capita income of all the big states, at Rs 2,65,942. But Karnataka, which had Rs 2,65,623, was not far behind. But the gap has grown this year.
For 2022-23, we didn’t have any information for Delhi. Per-capita income was Rs 3,31,112 in 2020-21 and Rs 3,89,529 in 2021-22.
With a per-capita income of Rs 1,81,961 in 2022-23, Haryana was at the top of the list when prices were kept the same. Karnataka came in second with Rs 1,76,383, and Tamil Nadu came in third with Rs 1,66,463.
Which sector contributes more to the Indian Economy?
The financial, real estate, and professional services sectors continued to add the most to the total value added (GVA) of all the sectors. In 2022-23, it made up 21.42 percent of the GVA as a whole. Its share was 21.51 percent in 2021-22.
In the last five years, this sector’s share was 22.19 percent, which was the biggest of all sectors.
The next biggest area was agriculture, forestry, and fishing, which made up 18.42%. Since 2020-21, when agriculture’s share was 20.32 percent, it has been going down. In 2021-22, 18.97% of the total GVA came from the farm sector.
At 17.98%, the trade, hotels, transportation, communication, and broadcasting services sector had the third biggest share. It has gotten back to where it was before the Covid-19 limits hurt it by 15.78% in 2020-21.
