The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has issued a notification inviting applications for the position of constables in the West Bengal Police.
The application process is set to commence on March 7, with the deadline for submission being April 5. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can choose to submit their applications through the official website available at prb.wb.gov.in.
Application Process
Candidates are encouraged to complete their applications within the specified timeframe. Additionally, applicants will have the opportunity to edit their submissions from April 8 to April 14.
Vacancy Details
This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 10,255 constable positions within the West Bengal Police.
Age Limit
As per the notification, candidates should be at least 18 years old and not more than 30 years old as of January 1, 2024.
Application Fee
The application fee is set at Rs.170 for candidates from all categories, except SC/ST applicants from West Bengal alone, who are required to pay Rs.20.
Selection Process
The selection process will comprise a Written Examination, followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and an Interview. These assessments will be conducted by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or an equivalent qualification.
