Today is the 34th Birthday of Country’s finest “Sports woman.” On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Today is the birthday of one of the greatest Cricketer India could ever had produced. Happy Birthday Harmanpreet Kaur.
There was a time when Women’s Cricket was not given much attention for more than a decade, but her spirit and love for cricket grabbed the attention of major Cricket lovers. One can actually say that Harmanpreet have contributed in making women’s cricket a mainstream sport.

- In the journey of around 124 ODI’s she has scored 3332 runs at an average of 38.18.
- She has notched up 5 centuries and around 17 half centuries till date in her ODI career.
- Talking about her performances in T20 matches, she has till now scored 3058 runs at the average rate of 28.1.
- She has also scored 171 runs against Australia in women’s ODI world cup semi finale back then in 2017, which resulted in being the only Indian cricketer to register for highest individual score in ICC women’s world cup.
- This year she pipped Rohit Sharma in order to become country’s 1st Indian cricketer to appear for 150 T20 matches.
- She also led the SuperNova team in women’s T20, under her leadership Supernova turned out to be one of the successful team in the history of Women’s T20.
Today Harmanpreet is not just a cricketer, but an inspiring personality, role model to many budding women cricketers not only in India but across the world too. She has set a perfect example of herself for the younger generation of the country.
